I can’t fucking stand this shit anymore.

I’ve seen too many people die over drugs. I’ve been clean almost 2 years now and I always tell people they shouldn’t mess with them. Yeah, I look like an uptight, conservative bitch. So what? I know plenty of people who have overdosed in my lifetime and that is part of what made me this way. How stupid and selfish can you be? Life is not yours to take.  You can’t take life for granted and hope you’ll get lucky enough to make it out of all the risky situations you put yourself in. I just don’t understand why someone would do that to themselves. Open your fucking eyes. You can’t take back what you’ve already done, but you can face up to it and turn your life around.

Every day I wake up and think of all the wonderful things I have. I have a loving family, I have the perfect girlfriend whom I see in my future, I have love, shelter, food, I have things that some people wish for. Sometimes I catch myself wondering what my life would be like if I was still hooked on all those drugs. I’m am SO very grateful to have this life to live. It pains me to see people throwing their life away. If only the world wasn’t so cruel.
